Pledge 2 Act FAST

GET Ceerias Pledge to Act FAST

GET CEERIAS (pronounced: Get se·ri·ous) is the short name for the Community Engagement for Early Recognition and Immediate Action in Stroke Initiative.

The GET Ceerias Pledge to Act FAST is a standardized pledge language executed by community members attesting that they would call 9-1-1 if they witnessed someone having a stroke. By taking the Pledge to Act FAST Pledge, the GET Ceerias research project can demonstrate the number of community partners and persons who have learned about the signs and symptoms of stroke and commit to taking action.

More than 20,000 people took the Pledge through 2024.
